Photography & Drone Shoot Services

Licensed pilots. Golden hour. Your Ladakh story, from the ground and the sky.

Overview

Whether you are on a solo bike ride across Khardung La, a honeymoon at a Pangong lakeside camp, a monastery pilgrimage, or an adrenaline trek through the Markha Valley — our photography and drone shoot services capture every moment as it actually felt, not as a posed afterthought. Our photographers know Ladakh's light: where the golden hour hits hardest, which monastery courtyard catches the morning sun, and which ridgeline gives you the Milky Way at 2am. Our drone operators are DGCA-licensed, insured, and know every no-fly zone in the region.

Frequently Asked

Questions

Are drones actually legal in Ladakh?

Drones require DGCA registration, a remote pilot licence, and area-specific permission in India. Our operators hold all of these. However, some areas near the Line of Actual Control and certain military zones are strict no-fly zones — we know exactly where these are and plan shoots accordingly.

How many edited photos will I get?

A half-day shoot delivers 40–60 edited photos. Full-day delivers 80–120 plus a short highlight reel. Multi-day trip documentation delivers 200+ photos, drone aerials, and a cinematic video. Raw files are available at additional cost.

What if we are camera shy?

Our photographers work naturally and stay in the background. We prioritise candid, relaxed moments over forced poses. Most people forget the camera is there within 20 minutes.

Can I use the photos commercially?

Yes. All delivered photos come with a full-use licence. You own the rights and can use them for social media, blogs, print, or any commercial purpose.

Do you help with drone permits?

Yes. Our operators hold standing DGCA approvals and we handle area-specific flight permissions for each shoot location. You do not need to arrange anything.

Can I book for just one location?

Absolutely. One-location shoots are our half-day package. If you only want Pangong golden hour or a Thiksey morning session, that works perfectly.

How long until I get the final files?

Photo preview within 24 hours. Full edited delivery within 48 hours. Drone footage and video reels take 72 hours. Rush delivery is available at additional cost.

What equipment do you use?

Sony A7 IV and Canon R5 camera bodies, DJI Mavic 3 Pro drones with Hasselblad sensors, professional lighting for indoor shoots, gimbal stabilisers for video, and cold-rated backup batteries for sub-zero conditions.
