Backup Support Vehicle

A single SUV or pickup comfortably supports six to eight riders with luggage. Beyond that we recommend a second vehicle or a larger Tempo Traveller so nobody is waiting on space.

Yes. It sweeps behind the group each riding day and stays at the same overnight halt. It is not a vehicle you call for — it is already there.

The vehicle carries a loading ramp. A dead bike goes on board and the rider travels in the vehicle to the next town, where our mechanic team takes over.

Yes. Our per-day rate covers the vehicle, fuel, driver, assistant where applicable, and their food and stay. Permits for the vehicle are arranged separately and quoted upfront.

Every support vehicle carries portable oxygen and a stocked first-aid kit as standard. If anyone in your group has a known condition, tell us in advance and we will add to it.

You can. Many groups take backup only for the high-altitude legs — Nubra, Pangong, Hanle and Umling La — and ride the Leh valley sections unsupported. We quote per day.

Clutch and accelerator cables, brake pads, levers, chain links, spark plugs, tubes and fuses for Royal Enfield Classic, Bullet and Himalayan. Tell us if you are on something else and we will stock accordingly.

Absolutely. Plenty of groups ride their own bikes up from the plains and book only the backup vehicle. The service is completely standalone.
