Why Book With Us?

Thin Air Is The Real Risk

Khardung La and Umling La sit above 17,000 ft, where oxygen is roughly half what your body is used to. Carrying a cylinder costs little and changes everything.

Checked, Not Assumed

Every cylinder is pressure-tested and every kit inventoried against expiry dates before it leaves our office.

You Are Shown How

We walk you through fitting the mask and setting flow rate in person, so nobody is improvising at 4 a.m. at altitude.

Delivered Where You Are

Hotel, homestay, campsite or roadside. If you need a cylinder mid-trip, we dispatch one to your location.

Someone Always Answers

Our 24/7 line is staffed by people in Leh who know the nearest medical facility on every route we operate.

How It Works

01

Tell Us Your Route

Share your itinerary and group size. We recommend cylinder size and how many the group realistically needs.

02

Reserve

Book online or on WhatsApp. A small refundable deposit holds the equipment for your dates.

03

Collect & Learn

Pick up in Leh or take delivery. We demonstrate the regulator, mask and oximeter before you go.

04

Travel & Return

Carry it with you. Return the cylinder and kit at the end — you are billed only for what was used.

Frequently Ask
Questions

Most healthy travellers who ascend gradually never open a cylinder. It is carried for the minority of cases where someone deteriorates, and for routes above 17,000 ft where there is no help nearby. Think of it the way you think of a spare tyre.

A 1L or 2L canister suits a couple staying around Leh and Nubra. Groups heading to Pangong, Hanle or Umling La usually carry a 5L or 10L cylinder in the vehicle, since it gives far longer duration for a genuine emergency.

No. Our kits contain first-aid supplies only. Altitude medicines such as acetazolamide are prescription drugs — speak to your own doctor well before you travel and bring what they prescribe. We do not supply or advise on prescription medication.

It relieves symptoms and buys time. It is not a cure. The only reliable treatment for worsening altitude sickness is to descend, and to do it quickly. If someone develops confusion, breathlessness at rest or a persistent cough, get them lower and to a doctor immediately.

We demonstrate the whole setup at handover — attaching the regulator, fitting the mask, setting flow rate — and the kit includes a printed one-page guide in English and Hindi.

Yes, within our operating areas. Call the 24/7 line and we will dispatch to your location. In a genuine emergency, call us and start descending at the same time — do not wait in place for the delivery.

A flat daily rental with a refundable deposit. Refillable cylinders are billed for gas actually consumed; unopened single-use canisters are not charged at all.

No. Compressed gas cylinders are not permitted in cabin or checked baggage on commercial flights. Return everything to us in Leh before departure.
